The Carlo Rizzarda Gallery of Modern Art PDF Print E-mail

Palazzo Bovio-Villabruna-Cumano hosts the only wrought iron museum in the world. Here are preserved the masterpieces of the master craftsman Carlo Rizzarda (Feltre 1883 -Milan 1931), student of Alessandro Mazzucotelli. The Gallery includes a collection of Modern Art with paintings, sculpture and ceramics of artists from the Nineteenth to the Twentieth Century, among whom: Felice Casorati, Egon Schiele, Giovanni Fattori, Telemaco Signorini, Gaetano Previati, Carlo Carrà, Adolfo Wildt, Francesco Messina and Tancredi. A donation in 2006 by the art critic and journalist Liana Bortolon has enriched the collection with works by, among others, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Massimo Campigli, Ennio Morlotti, Bruno Cassinari, Afro, Gino Severini, Aligi Sassu and Mario Sironi.
